Erik Sather has been involved in promoting and supporting education in Arizona since 2008. He believes education is the primary means to build a thriving and strong community. Flagstaff’s community deserves a champion for all its young learners, their parents, its teachers, and our neighbors. Erik will work hard to establish good communication between everyone who is invested in public education–and that truly includes everyone. Erik believes FUSD does a tremendous job working with students from every kind of background and dynamically supporting individual needs. His main goal is to listen, to highlight FUSD successes, and to guide the district to make informed, data-based decisions.
